Whole school Explore and Engage Plan: Coming to England
This whole school English plan will support teachers in each year group to deliver a purposeful and engaging personal narrative (memoir) unit based on the wonderful core text: Coming to England by Floella Benjamin. Covering a range of spoken language, vocabulary development, reading and writing skills, this plan seeks to engage the whole school learning community through the joint discovery and enjoyment of a rich text.
