Covering a range of speaking and listening, reading and writing skills, this plan demonstrates how these aspects of learning can be delivered through engaging and purposeful learning opportunities. Attuning skills in reading and writing, children will produce a number of incidental written pieces of work, culminating in a retelling of a traditional tale with a twist at the end of the unit.
